Sensei William Penberthy

Sensei William has been  training in Ninjutsu and Jujitsu under Kyoshi Weekly for over half of his life, starting at the Ninpiden Dojo in Parker in 2005. He has stayed with the same program and Kyoshi Weekley because of the focus on practical self-defense and the skill and understanding of the instructors.  He especially appreciated the instructors’ knowledge of the art and ability to explain why certain things were done and why they worked.

William tested to become Sensei for Ninjutsu and Jujutsu in 2012 and for his Sensei in sword in the spring of 2018. He started teaching at Yamabushi dojo in the summer of 2015. His work with everyone at the Ninpiden Dojo and at Yamabushi Dojo is what led William to decide on a career as a teacher outside the dojo as well.

“The ability for this art to modified for anyone to use, no matter the physical limitations of the person, is why I have dedicated so much of my time and energy to teaching it. Everyone should be able to train and protect themselves. I highly encourage anyone and everyone to stop by and give us a try.” Sensei William Penberthy
